Dr. Pan C. Chow, MD, CCFP, FCFP
Dr. Pan Chow graduated from the Family Medicine Residency program at the University of Alberta in 1988. He has practiced family medicine in Calgary for twenty four years, in which time he has established an extensive patient population. Dr. Chow is a specialist in Family Medicine and is a regular Clinical Lecturer at the University of Calgary. On top of his regular Family Practice, Dr. Chow also performs obstetrics at the Peter Lougheed Centre of the Calgary General Hospital. With Dr. Chow’s years of experience, he can provide his patients with a varied skill set, and a high level of expertise and professionalism.
Dr. Bill Emery, MB, ChB, DRCOG, MRCGP
Dr. Bill Emery graduated from the Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Liverpool. He spent the first six years of his career in Hospital Medicine before entering full time Family Medicine in 1983. Dr. Emery moved to Alberta in 1987, where he practiced in rural locations until relocating to Calgary in 1991. He has run a successful solo practice in Calgary for the last twenty years. Dr. Emery’s vast experience and expertise make him a wonderful addition to our healthcare team.
Dr. Safdar Hussain, MBBS
Dr. Safdar Hussain graduated from a prestigious Medical School in Pakistan in 1982. He has been practicing Family Medicine in Alberta since 2011. He has a very high level of Clinical skills and experience. Over the period of time, he has acquired excellent reputation and is very popular with his patients. He is very approachable and ensures that his patients get the quality of care that meets his and patients expectations. Dr. Meredith Salisbury, MD, CCFP
Dr. Meredith Salisbury graduated from medical school at UBC in Vancouver in 2011. She recently completed her Family Medicine Residency in Victoria, BC and is interested in a broad scope of medical practice as a Family Physician. Dr. Salisbury’s recent education ensures that her patients are receiving the utmost quality of care. Her empathetic and holistic demeanor enables her to better understand her patients’ needs and concerns.
Dr. Narendra Makan , MD, CCFP
Dr. Narendra Makan completed his Family Medicine Internship program at Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine in South Africa in 1992. He then spent 9 years as a Family Physician and Medical Officer at a teaching hospital in South Africa. He relocated to Canada in 2001 and worked as a Family Physician in Newfoundland before moving to city of Calgary since 2007. Dr. Narendra Makan is a very experienced and capable physician who is able to provide care in all aspects of Family Medicine, with a special interest in Preventative care.
Dr. Jocelyn Beckstead, MD, CCFP
Dr. Jocelyn Beckstead grew up in Alberta and completed her residency training at the University of Calgary. She is a passionate doctor committed to helping patients achieve their health goals and maximizing their quality of life. She is interested in all areas of general practice and believes in empowering patients to take control of their health. Outside of work, Dr. Beckstead is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with her family in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
Dr. Mohamad Hamouda, MD, CCFP
Dr. Mohamad Hamouda, MD graduated from Medical school in Egypt in 2007. After being in Family Medicine Practice for few years in Egypt, he moved to Calgary and has been practicing in Calgary for few years. Dr. Hamouda has very good patient reviews and is very well liked by his patients. He is very empathetic and good natured and is able to understand his patients and their families. He is interested in all aspects of Family medicine practice. Services are provided in English and Arabic.
Dr. Deep Keer, MD, CCFP
Dr. Keer completed his Family Medicine Residency from the University of British Columbia in 2017. He is interested in all aspects of general medicine, with enhanced training and a special interest in dermoscopy, skin cancer prevention, and the management of chronic dermatological conditions in the primary care setting.
Dr. Herjot Sidhu, MD, CCFP
Dr. Herjot Sidhu, recently finished the Family Medicine Residency program from Dalhousie University in Halifax before moving back to her hometown here in Calgary. She has a wide scope of interest within family medicine including geriatrics, diabetes, and pediatrics. Dr. Sidhu values patient-centered care and strives to spend more time with patients to better understand their needs and concerns.
